How to update MetaMask & Browser Extensions
Keeping browser wallets updated is a critical security habit in web3 especially when your wallets can contain significant sums of money. Several hacks could have been prevented by users keeping their wallets updated. Wallet Guard routinely checks your wallet versions to ensure you have the latest security patches.
A quick guide on how to make sure you’re up-to-date.
1. Go to «chrome://extensions» in your address bar and turn on Developer Mode in the top right corner.
2. Now click Update in the top left corner.
That’s it! You’ve successfully updated all your browser extensions. You can turn developer mode back off.

- Откройте проводник (Проводник можно открыть, нажав клавишу Win + E).
- Введите %AppData% в строке текущего пути и нажмите Enter.
- В папке Roaming найдите папку dolphin_anty и перейдите в неё.
- Затем откройте папку extensions внутри папки dolphin_anty.
- Удалите папку nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn и файл nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn.crx (если он есть) с помощью команды “Удалить” или нажатием клавиши Shift + Del на клавиатуре.
macOS:
- Откройте Terminal (введите в поиске, открыв Launchpad).
- В терминале введите open ~/Library/Application\ Support и нажмите Enter.
- В открывшемся окне перейдите в папку dolphin_anty.
- Найдите папку nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn внутри папки extensions.
- Удалите папку nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn и файл nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn.crx, выбрав их и зажав Cmd + ⌫, либо перетащив их в корзину на Dock.
Linux:
- Откройте терминал и введите open ~/.config/dolphin_anty/ и нажмите «Enter».
- Найдите папку nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn внутри папки «Extensions».
