«Couldn’t crc map»
Whenever I attempt to join this particular server I get this message and it disconnects me. I’ve tried reinstalling gmod, and I can’t find the specific map online. Thoughts?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\download\maps — 64b
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\download\maps — 32 bit
Go to that location (or wherever your GMod is located on your pc) and delete the map that gives that error, then try again.

That’s because of storage space. Delete the maps from the folders, clear some storage space, then reinstall the maps.

Couldn’t CRC map
So I was logging into the server I normally play on and there was a map on which I didn’t have downloaded, so I couldn’t log into the server, I downloaded the map which is Freespace GS, and once it finished dowloading and I try to log back into the server, and a popup appeared saying, Couldn’t CRC map maps/freespace_gs.bsp, and the map doesn’t work in singleplayer either, I have tried restarting gmod, restarting my pc and reinstalling the map but it doesn’t seem to work, any way of fixing this?

Couldn’t CRC map (mapname) error
alright. i was playing tf2jailbreak, and when the map jail_minecraft_dynf_v10d.bsp comes up, it says «Couldn’t CRC map. what does CRC mean, and how do i fix this problem? i look in console, it says incorrect BSP version but what do i do to fix it? please help.

Working fix as of 02/02/2022
1. Locate your TF2 Install
2. Delete your maps folder in the download folder *NOT THE DEFAULT MAPS FOLDER*
3. Start tf2 and load the map you initially tried to load into.
\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download

3. Start tf2 and load the map you initially tried to load into.

I’m kinda surprised that you found this post after a solid 6 years. I used to play TF2 a bit back when I was 10 — 12 years old, and around the time I posted this. I am now 17, about to be 18 in May, Senior in Highschool going to College next Fall. I am far past my TF2 years. It made me smile remembering those years when I wasn’t that bright and made this post. Thank you for reminding me of this and bringing in the nostalgia.

Привет всем, не скачивается карта, доходит до половины и отлючается с такой ошибкой «Couldn’t CRC map maps/deathrun_aztecan_escape_v8.bsp, disconnecting»
А хотя остальные карты скачиваются.

А хотя остальные карты скачиваются.
это только у тебя или у всех? Уточни пожалуйста. И заглянь в клиент игры,у тебя там такой карты случайно нет?

Ты давай,пробуй все варианты,укажи нам хоть версию игры,перезалей карту на хостинг,карта одним файлом у тебя или 2 или 3 файла,больше инфы- быстрей помогут
размер карты тоже уточни

Заменял карту на сервере картой с других источников, обычно помогало

эта ошибка может быть,если карта имеет большой размер,один раз не докачалась,при повторной попытке может возникнуть проблема. Может, если у вас в клиенте есть такая карта,то она может отличаться от серверной. А вообще лучше не использовать карты больших размеров на сервере css, вот у меня стоит карта aim_zavod_yantar имеет вес 90м,со своей скоростью закачки я скачал ее при входе на сервер за 3 попытки,но обошлось без проблем,но не у всех,потому приходиться обращаться к тем кто умеет сжимать текстуры для карт,так как зачастую авторы карт не делают этого.

Обновите контент-хостинг, если таковой имеется.

Все сделал, карта плохая была, с другого сайта скачал
P.s. сервер на другом хостинге.
