Withdrawals on the Solana (SOL) network have been suspended for a few times since 2022-04-25 (UTC). This is due to high withdrawal volume generated with blank transaction IDs. Once it is confirmed that the on-chain transactions failed, the corresponding withdrawal requests would be rejected. The entire process takes at least four hours.

Steps to Transfer Solana (SOL) from Binance to Solflare Wallet

1. Launch your Solflare wallet extension
2. Copy your Solflare wallet address
3. Go to the Binance website
4. Find your asset

1. Launch your Solflare wallet extension

Click the Puzzle Icon on the top right of your chrome browser and click on the Solflare wallet.

In the case of Firefox, click the Solflare icon on the top right in your browser window.

Once you are launched your Solflare wallet, type your password to unlock it.

2. Copy your Solflare wallet address

In the event of successful unlocking, you can see the Solflare dashboard.

Just under your wallet balance, you can see two options: Receive and Send.

Click Receive .

By clicking the Receive button, you can see your Solflare wallet address.

You can copy that address by clicking COPY ADDRESS or you can scan the QR code.

3. Go to the Binance website

Once you’ve copied your Solflare wallet address, go to the Binance website .

You can log in either by using your email address or by your mobile number.

Type your password and click Log In .

4. Find your asset

After your successful login, you will be in your Binance dashboard.

On the right side of your screen, you can see the Wallet dropdown.

Click on that and click Fiat and Spot .

In the Fiat and Spot section, you can see all assets you have purchased.

On your asset list, locate Solana and click Withdraw , which is right next to the asset name.

If you couldn’t find it, just type Solana in the Search tab.

5. Transfer Solana (SOL) from Binance to Solflare wallet

After locating your asset and clicking Withdraw, the Binance site will take you to the Withdraw Crypto window.

There you can see a few fields to fill out such as withdrawal address and withdrawal amount.

Just paste the Solflare wallet address that you’ve copied a while ago into the Withdraw to field.

The Network field will automatically get updated to Solana once you paste your wallet address.

Just under the Network field, you need to enter the amount of SOL you want to send. Click Max, if you want to send all your SOL.

Click Withdraw after filling in all the necessary details.

You will see a confirmation pop-up after clicking Withdraw. Check your wallet address and click Continue .

Note : you need to withdraw a minimum of 0.3 SOL. And the network fee is 0.01 SOL; however, it may vary depending on the blockchain.

6. Security verification

Next is security verification.

During the verification process, you will be asked to enter the verification code that has been sent to your e-mail address and phone number.

Note : You need to click Send Code to receive it.

Type the verification codes received to your e-mail and phone in according fields and click Submit .

A positive notification will appear once the verification codes have been submitted.

7. Check your Binance and Solflare account

Following successful submission, you need to wait for processing.

Usually, assets will be transferred within 5-10 minutes. For us, it took 2 minutes.

You can check your status in the Recent Withdrawals section if you scroll down a bit.

You can also check your Solflare account balance.

That’s it you’ve withdrawn and transferred your SOL to your Solflare wallet.

The above steps are pretty much the same for the Solflare mobile application.

2. Launch your Binance mobile application
3. Find your asset

Go to the Solflare wallet extension, you can see the Solflare dashboard.

Then, you are into the Binance Lite mode by default. If you want to switch to Pro mode, tap the Profile icon in the top left of the screen and tap the toggle button.

It might look complicated to use Binance Pro as a beginner. Hence, Binance Lite is preferable for beginners.

3. Find your asset

Binance application will take you to your dashboard as soon as you log in.

There you could see the wallet icon. Tap on it.

After tapping the wallet icon, your assets list will be visible. Choose SOL.

After tapping the SOL, you could see the availability of SOL and history.

Just further down, you can see Withdraw button. Tap on it.

4. Transfer Solana (SOL) from Binance mobile application to Solflare wallet

Now, you can see Withdraw SOL page.

There you can see 3 fields.

In the Address field, paste the Solflare wallet address that you’ve copied a while ago. Or you can click the scan icon to scan the QR code of the Solflare wallet address.

The Network field will automatically get updated to Solana once you paste your wallet address.

In the Amount field, enter the amount of SOL you want to transfer. You can click MAX if you want to send all your SOL purchased.

Now, click Withdrawal .

Note : you need to withdraw a minimum of 0.3 SOL. And the network fee is 0.01 SOL; however, it may vary depending on the blockchain.

5. Security verification

Next is security verification.

Binance will ask you to fill in the e-mail and phone verification code that has been sent.

Note : You need to click Send Code to receive it.

Type the verification codes received to your e-mail and phone in the according fields and click Submit .

6. Check your Solflare wallet

Once you see the transaction notification, head back to your Solflare wallet extension and see your wallet balance on the front preview itself.

Note : Usually, SOL will be transferred within 5-10 minutes. For us, it took 2 minutes.
